Tree of Life

Here is the work in progress of one of my tree of life wall hangers.

This one is made on an 8" wreath frame.
I am wiring on round acrylic beads in frosted lilac with large purple acrylic crystals using gold coloured glass seed beads as spacers.

I have decided to fill just three quaters of the frame.

To start making the tree I have used thicker wire in gold, copper and bronze.
First I coil up the ends then wrap them around the frame.

Wires are twisted together to form a basic tree shape.

Now the wires are wrapped around the frame and the ends are coiled up.
The tree is also teased into a more pleasing shape.

And lastly I'm adding little lucite flowers with tiny shiny purple glass seed bead centers.

All finished!
