How to make a beaded flower spray.

First let's make some leaves.

To make these leaves I have used size 8 seed beads and 0.32mm wire or you could use 0.4mm wire.

Cut a piece of wire about 40cm (16") long.

Thread a bead and let it fall to the centre of the wire (hint - make a bend at the middle of the wire to see where it is more easily)

Add 2 more beads to one side of the wire and cross the other end through the opposite way as shown.

Pull the wires carefully until you have little triangle of beads sitting at the centre of the wire.

Now add 4 more beads to one side of the wire and cross the other end through the opposite way. Pull up the wires so they sit firmly on top of the previous 2 beads.

Now add 5 beads in the same way.

Keep going by adding 2 more rows of 5 beads, a row of 3 beads then 2 beads then one. Twist the remaiming wire to make the stem.

Make as many leaves as you want, I have made 6 and twisted them together into two branches of three.

Now let's make some flowers.

I have used some 6mm round glass pearls

Cut  apiece of wire about 30cm (12") long, add one bead, move to the centre, bring the wires together and twist twice as shown.

Add three beads to each side.

Bring the beads around the centre bead and twist the wires together to form a little flower. I made four but you can make however many you like.

Now lets make some sprays, I have used 6mm pearls.

Cut a piece of wire about 40cm (15") bring the wires and twist together for about 1cm.

Add another bead to just one wire, bring the other wire round and twist them together for another centmetre.

Add more beads in the same way, I have made two strands with six beads and two with 5 beads.

Twist all your pieces together to create a spray.
