To make this bracelet I have used 6mm glass pearls in green and size 8 seed beads in red, 0.3mm tigertail beading wire, 2 x 2mm crimp beads and a small toggle clasp.
1. Cut a piece of wire around 30" (about 70cm) put the wire through one end of the clasp and fold in half.
Slide a crimp bead over both wires and with with your flat nosed pliers sqeeeze it flat close to the clasp.
2. Put 3 seed beads over both wires.
3. Separate the wires and add one seed bead, one 6mm bead and another seed bead to each wire.
4. Add another seed bead to one of the wires and put the other wire through the seed bead in the opposite direction so the wires are crossing through the seed bead as shown.
5. Pull the wires up so the beads are stting close together.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 until you have the length you require finishing as shown.
7. Slide 3 seed beads, the second crimp bead and the other part of the clasp over both wires.
8. Put both wires back through the crimp bead and through the first 3 seed beads.
9. Hold the clasp and pull the wire firmly, if it gets stuck push the seed beads and the little crimp away from the clasp and pull again. Once the wires are pulled firmly and evenly squash the crimp flat with the tip of your pliers. be careful not to catch the end seed bead in the pliers.
Trim of the excess wire.
All done!
Now you know how you can experiment with different sizes, types and combinations of beads to create your own designs.
This one is made size 8 seed beads, 4mm and 6mm fire polished crystals.
Thanks for looking!
